Sub-processors
Last updated 14 September 2026. Applies to I Said Yes, operated by I Said Yes Ltd.
These are the companies that handle personal data so that I Said Yes can work. For each one: what we use it for, exactly what it receives, and where. Where a company only receives anything when a particular feature is in use, it says so.
A planner is the controller of her couples' and guests' details and we are her processor; these companies are ours. Our privacy policy explains the rest, and the migration agreement says which of them touch the files a planner sends us to move her weddings in.
1.The companies we use
| Company | What we use it for | What it receives | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | The database and file storage, including files a planner sends us to move her weddings in. | Everything held in I Said Yes. | Ireland (EEA) |
| GitHub | Makes a backup of the database every night, keeps each one for 30 days and then deletes it. GitHub, Inc. is a Microsoft company. | A copy of the database while the nightly backup runs. Each backup is encrypted before it is stored, with a key only I Said Yes holds. Uploaded files are not included. | United States |
| Vercel | Runs the application and serves its pages. | Each request as it passes through. Nothing is stored there. | Global network, UK and EU regions preferred |
| Resend | Sends email: invitations, reminders, digests and account email. | The address an email goes to, and what it says. | United States, with an EU sending region where available |
| Stripe | Takes payment for I Said Yes subscriptions, and card payments into a planner's own Stripe account when a couple pays her invoice by card. | A planner's billing details for her subscription. A couple paying by card types their details into Stripe's own page, so they never pass through I Said Yes. | United States and the EEA |
| Anthropic | The AI that reads a document a planner brings in, drafts messages and tasks, and answers questions about a wedding, when she uses those features; and the AI we use to read and tidy the files a planner sends us to move her weddings in, under her migration agreement. | Only what the feature in use needs, which can include guests' names and dietary notes; for moving in, the files the planner sent. Anthropic does not train its models on what it receives through its commercial API. | United States |
| OpenAI | Draws mood board images from a written brief, when a planner asks for one. | The couple's names, the date, the venue and its address, the number of guests, the palette and the words chosen for the board. No guest details and no files. | United States |
| Nylas | Connects a planner's own mailbox, when she chooses to connect one, so her email is filed against her weddings and her replies go out from her own address. She signs in on Nylas's page; I Said Yes never sees or holds her email password. | The email in the Inbox and Sent folders of a mailbox a planner has connected, and what she sends from I Said Yes. Never Spam, Trash or drafts. Disconnecting revokes the connection and deletes what I Said Yes brought in.Only for a planner who has connected her mailbox. | European Union (Nylas's EU region) |
2.Services asked for public information
These receive a postcode or a place, and nothing that names a person. They are listed because a postcode a guest types is still something a guest typed.
- postcodes.io: A postcode, to find where it is: a venue's, a planner's, and one a guest types on a wedding's address page.
- Open-Meteo: The latitude and longitude of a venue, for its weather forecast.
- Google Maps Platform: The coordinates of a planner's address and a venue, for the drive between them. Only if drive times are switched on. They are not switched on at the moment.
3.When this list changes
We email every workspace owner at least 30 days before we add or change a company that handles their data, so they can object. A planner whose weddings we are moving in is told before we add one that would touch her files. Questions go to privacy@isaidyes.ai.
