Terms of service
Last updated 9 September 2026. Applies to I Said Yes, operated by I Said Yes Ltd.
These terms are the agreement between I Said Yes Ltd (“we”, “us”, trading as I Said Yes) and the business or person who creates a workspace (“you”, the “planner”). By creating a workspace you accept them. People you invite (team members, couples, their families) use the service under your account and these terms apply to their use too.
They are written in plain English on purpose. Where a heading says what a section is for, that is what it means.
1.The service
I Said Yes is web-based software for planning weddings and events: checklists, guest lists, budgets, suppliers, timelines, table plans, design boards, notes and files, a client portal and email notifications. We host it, keep it running and improve it over time. Features may be added, changed or, with 30 days' notice, removed.
It is a tool for your business. It does not give legal, financial or planning advice. The UK checklist and timeline templates are starting points that you are responsible for checking against each wedding.
2.Your account
- You must be at least 18 and creating the workspace for a business purpose.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us straight away at hello@isaidyes.ai if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what the team members and couples you invite do in it.
- Only the workspace owner can change billing, export the workspace or delete it.
3.Free trial and payment
- Every new workspace starts with a 30-day free trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged.
- After the trial, keep using the service by subscribing at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the UK rate.
- If you do not subscribe, the workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted and everyone can still sign in and look. Subscribe at any time to carry on.
- Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until you cancel from Settings. Cancelling stops the next charge; the current period runs to its end. We do not give refunds for part-used periods unless the law says we must.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change never applies until your next renewal after that notice.
4.Your data
- Everything you and your couples put into the workspace is yours. We claim no rights over it beyond what we need to run the service for you.
- You can export the whole workspace as JSON and CSV from Settings at any time, and the couple can export their own guest list.
- You are the controller of your clients' personal data and we are your processor. Section 6 contains the data processing terms required by Article 28 UK GDPR. Our privacy policy explains what we do in more detail and forms part of these terms.
- You confirm that you have a lawful basis for the personal data you enter, that you have told your clients how you use the service, and that you have permission for any special category data such as dietary or accessibility needs.
5.Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- store or send anything unlawful, defamatory or that infringes someone's rights;
- send unsolicited bulk email or use the RSVP and share links to spam people;
- try to reach another workspace's data, probe or overload the service, or reverse engineer it;
- upload files containing malware;
- resell the service or present it as your own software.
If you do, we may suspend the workspace after telling you why, and remove the offending content. We will always give you the chance to export your data unless the law prevents it.
6.Data processing terms
These terms apply whenever we process personal data on your behalf, and they satisfy Article 28(3) UK GDPR.
- Subject matter and duration: the personal data described in the privacy policy, for as long as you have a workspace plus the 30-day recovery period.
- Nature and purpose: storing, displaying, exporting and sending notifications about that data so you can plan weddings and events.
- Instructions: we act only on your documented instructions, which you give by using the service. We will tell you if we think an instruction breaks data protection law.
- Confidentiality: everyone who works on the service is bound by confidentiality.
- Security: we apply the measures in the privacy policy, including encryption, row-level access control and hashed credentials.
- Sub-processors: you authorise Supabase, Vercel and Resend. We tell you 30 days before any change and you may object; if we cannot resolve the objection you may end the service and export your data.
- Assistance: we help you respond to data subject requests, data protection impact assessments and regulator enquiries, through the tools in the service and by email.
- Breaches: we tell you without undue delay, and within 48 hours of becoming aware, giving what we know so you can meet your own 72-hour deadline.
- End of service: on deletion we remove all personal data within 30 days, backups within a further 30 days, unless UK law requires us to keep some.
- Audit: we provide the information you reasonably need to show compliance, and allow audits by you or an auditor you appoint, on 30 days' notice, no more than once a year unless a regulator requires it.
- Transfers: personal data is stored in Ireland, inside the EEA, which the UK recognises as adequate. Any transfer by a sub-processor outside the UK or the EEA is covered by the UK IDTA or UK Addendum.
7.Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available all the time and to tell you in advance about planned maintenance. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Support is by email at hello@isaidyes.ai, on UK working days.
8.Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect loss, nor for loss caused by information you or your clients entered incorrectly, or by a wedding going differently from the plan.
- The service is provided as described. Beyond that, we give no warranty that it will meet every need or be free of errors.
9.Ending the agreement
- You can delete your workspace from Settings at any time. It is hidden immediately and removed for good after 30 days; until then you can restore it from the link we email you.
- We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. Either way you will be able to export your data first unless the law prevents it.
- Sections 4, 6, 8 and 10 survive the end of the agreement.
10.General
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
- If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- We may update these terms. We email workspace owners about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
- I Said Yes Ltd, company number 00000000, registered office Registered office to be confirmed, Gloucestershire, England.
