Moving over

We move your weddings across.

If you have twenty weddings somewhere else, the worst part of changing software is typing them all in again and getting some of it wrong. So we do it for you. It costs nothing, on any plan, and you do not need an account to start.

Start moving in

Already using I Said Yes? It is in Settings.

How it works

You export. Whatever your current tool gives you. Do not tidy it up first, and do not worry if it is messy. Sorting that out is the job we are doing for you.

You send it. One upload link, straight to us. Not email, not a shared drive.

We move it across. Weddings, guests, budgets, suppliers and running orders, into your workspace.

You check it. We tell you when it is ready and exactly what came across. You look through it and tell us what is wrong. Nothing is treated as done until you say so.

What to send

  • Your weddings: couple names, date, venue, and whether it is full, partial or on the day
  • Guest lists
  • Budgets
  • Your supplier list
  • Running orders or timelines, if you have them
  • Contracts and quotes as PDFs, if you want them in your files

Send what you have. A spreadsheet you have been keeping yourself is as good as an export from a proper system, and often cleaner.

Where your export lives

Aisle Planner
In Aisle Planner, open each wedding and use Export in the Guest Manager, Budget and Timeline, then download your vendors from Contacts.
HoneyBook
In HoneyBook, open Contacts, choose the three-dot menu and Download spreadsheet, then Download reports on the Reports page.
Dubsado
In Dubsado, open Projects, clear any filters and choose Export CSV, then do the same on Contacts.
Táve
In VSCO Workspace, which was Táve, open Jobs, Leads and Address Book and use the download icon at the top right of each.
17hats
In 17hats, open Contacts, choose the gear icon at the top right and Export Contacts.
A spreadsheet
Send the spreadsheet as it is, whether it lives in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, where File, then Download, gives you Excel.
Something else
Look for Export or Download on each list, or in the settings, and send whatever it gives you.

Checked on each tool's own help pages on 14 September 2026.

If your tool will not let you export, you are still entitled to your data. There is an email you can send them at the bottom of this page.

How long it takes

Five working days from the day your files arrive, usually sooner. If we are busy we will tell you where you are in the queue rather than leave you guessing.

What happens to your files

They go straight into private storage that only your workspace can reach. Nobody else can see them, they are never sent to a third party we have not named, and we delete them within thirty days of you signing the migration off. Sooner if you ask.

Before anything is uploaded you sign a short agreement covering exactly this: what we hold, what we do with it, who touches it, and when it is destroyed. Your guest lists contain allergies, which is medical information, and it is treated as such.

Read the agreementWho we use

If you would rather do it yourself

You can. Create a wedding, then bring guests, budgets and suppliers in from the Import screen. It shows you what will happen before it saves anything, hands back any rows it cannot use with the reason beside each, and a whole import can be undone for twenty-four hours afterwards.

How to import your own files

If your tool will not export

Send them this. It asks for your data back under the agreement you already have with them, which is quicker than anything formal.

Subject: Export of my account data

Hello,

I am moving my planning records to another system and I would like a full export of the data in my account, including my weddings, guest lists, budgets, suppliers and timelines.

I would prefer CSV or Excel. If that is not possible, please send whatever format you can.

Some of this is my clients' personal data, which I am the controller for, so please treat this as a request under our agreement for the return of that data.

Could you let me know when to expect it?

Thank you, [name]
